Mai Tai
60 ml aged dark rum (El Dorado Demerara 12 years)
15 ml orange curacao (BOLS Dry Orange)
5 ml orgeat
5 ml gomme syrup
30 ml fresh lime juice
Shake with ice and lime shell pieces until a shaker becomes frosty. Strain over crushed ice in an Old-fashioned glass, garnish with a lime wedge and a cherry.
Some notes:
1. Always use only the best ingredients – from rum to water for ice.
2. In a glass – crushed ice, but in a shaker – cubed.
3. Lime shell in a shaker – MUST.
4. Sip slowly … and responsibly… :)
