Actually German Chocolate Cake Cocktail is really liquid cake :) It is ideal after square dinner.

German Chocolate Cake Cocktail with beautiful cream garnish

German Chocolate Cake

30 ml Malibu
30 ml creme de cacao white
10 ml Frangelico
1 splash half-and-half
Shake and strain over ice in an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with four squirts of canned whipped cream (about 3/4 inches high) at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock positions.

It is so good and no so fat as cocktails with Irish creams :)

Blue Hawaiian

2 August 2008 · 6 Comments

This cocktail has amazing character – as for me is symbol of La Dolce Vita. It is great thing for relax after hard work.

Blue Hawaiian was invented in bar of Zanzibar Club (London, UK). The Blue Hawaiian is a cocktail that contains white rum, blue curacao, pineapple juice and cream of coconut (or creme of coconut ???). However, some recipes substitute cream of coconut with coconut-flavored rum. This cocktail shouldn’t be confused with the similarly named Blue Hawaii (with vodka).

This two more beautiful (as for me, of course) version of Blue Hawaiian Cocktail.

Blue Hawaiian (with a coconut liqueur)

30 ml white rum
30 ml coconut liqueur
30 ml pineapple juice
15 ml blue curacao liqueur
Shake. Serve in double-rocks glass. Garnish with a cherry and pinneaple spear.

Admirable cocktail with very smooth, light, sweet taste.

Blue Hawaiian (with a coconut cream)

40 ml white rum
20 ml pinneaple juice
10 ml blue curacao liqueur
1 tsp coconut cream
Shake vigorously. Serve in cocktail glass. Garnish with piece of pineapple.

This version has so strong and less coconut taste.

For my Blue Hawaiian I use Havana Club Anejo Blanco for very smooth and light cocktail.

Bahama Mama

This sweet summer cocktail has some variations. I dont remember the source of this recipe, but it is my friends favorite stuff. I use well-aged demerara rum for this recipe for best results.

White Knight

17 January 2008 · 4 Comments

I do not love very much a creamy cocktails, Irish creams and cream. But many of my female friends (understand? is it correct?) love these things very, very much. Some times I think about to devote grandiose investigation of this kind of liquors and drinks from it.

This cocktail has typical composition but very romantic name. But I feel queasy from the picture of this cocktail…

White Knight

45 ml Irish cream liqueur
15 ml Irish whiskey
15 ml coconut rum
45 ml half & half
Shake. Old-fashioned glass, garnish with coconut wedge…

Mortal knight!  drink.
