Sometimes I ask myself: “А навіщо платити більше?” (А-а-а… Why should I pay more?)

This cocktail has been chosen for exploring the question. :)

Electric Blue Margarita

20 ml Cointreau
20 ml silver tequila (Jose Cuervo)
10 ml peach schnapps
10 ml blue curacao
80 ml sweet and sour
Shake and strain over ice.

Very funny drink! I have had two… but found them rather expensive … Cointreau 33 USD 1 l and Jose Cuervo Blanco 27 USD 0,7 l…

Well! Let’s try cheaper stuff – Siroco Triple Seс 9 USD 0,7 l and El Charro Silver 24 USD 1 l.

Sunrise

A recipe of this cocktail I’ve found in Cocktail and Mixed Drinks by Anthony Hogg (1979).

Sunrise

25 ml Tequila (Jose Cuervo Classico)
12 ml Galliano
12 ml creme de banana (Bols Banana)
12 ml milk
6 ml grenadine
6 ml fresh lemon juice
Shake. Add grenadine in a glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel.

M-m-m-m… Sweety!

Mint Lemonade

Да, джулеп это круто! Но в нашей средней полосе не каждый его поймет … Точнее его вкус… Для таких я тут же сделал другой мятный рефрешер… Его оригинальный рецепт находиться здесь.

Mint Lemonade

30 ml fresh lemon juice
30 ml simple syrup
30 ml club soda
30 ml tequila (Jose Cuervo Classico)
about 2 sprigs of mint (only fresh young leaves)
Muddle. Bild. Highball with cracked ice, garnish with a lemon wheel and a sprig of mint.
