Is simple syrup(1:1) an adequate substitute of gomme syrup or are there any noticable differences in taste?

+ it has gum arabic, nvm found out what gum arabic is actually in for, its just an emulsifier, no flavouring.

Just an addition to your recipies from my side.
Here’s a simple recipe with few ingredients, but it looks good, tastes great and it’s actually good for you. It’s called a Palm Purple Martini, but you can trick it out however you want :4oz Purple 2oz Ketel Citron Splashes of Triple Sec and sour mix. Fill a shaker with 1/2 cup ice. Combine All ingredients; Shake and Strain into a large chilled martini glass This has been a big hit for me when I had friends over (I love to cook and entertain) and I bet anyone would like this. Oh, and Congratulations on your Big Day! (more Purple recipes: http://www.drinkpurple.com/our_product_mixology.htm Have I mentioned that I love this stuff? Lol..
